An opportunity has arisen for a highly driven, motivated, dynamic and dedicated individual to join the team within the Emergency Department at University Hospital Ayr. 

You will be a Registered Children’s Nurse with current NMC registration and Emergency Care experience desirable. Evidence of team working skills with ability to work using own initiative. 

Effective listening and interpersonal skills and time management skills. Must be flexible and be aware that you may be required to care for adult patients on occasion.
To undertake this role you must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with nursing colleagues and members of the multi-disciplinary team. 

You will be instrumental in ensuring a continuum of service delivery by responding to the many challenges presented on a daily basis on maintaining safe, effective, person centred care. 

37.5 hrs per week. Working a of shift pattern of 0930-2200 over seven days to fulfil the post.
