We are looking to recruit a Facilities Support Manager, based at Caithness General Hospital, Wick. The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure Policies and Procedures are managed to meet legislation, ensuring risk management techniques alongside best practice within the area of responsibilities are being met.


To develop and maintain effective working relationships with local managers and other relevant colleagues to ensure a flexible client focused approach within Facilities which recognises changes in Healthcare provision. To recruit, train, lead, develop and motivate staff to deliver and maintain patient centred services, optimising the effectiveness of their personal contribution.  therefore excellent communication, experience of managing teams, being people focused and having extensive knowledge on IT skills are required.


The successful applicant will require to travel to all NHS Sites in the local geographical area, a fleet vehicle is available for travelling to sites. A beautiful veranda in the North of Scotland, is your office outlook should you have the skills and qualities to join our team, to support the growing potential of our team, with the aim to provide world class service.


A full clean driving licence is required, however access to economical public transport is acceptable.


We offer a full comprehensive induction and training package.


This is a permanent full-time 37.5 hours post working Monday to Friday.
