Do you have a passion for problem solving and want to support your colleagues to deliver efficient and effective patient care through their understanding of our new Hospital Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration System? 

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Nurse – Digital and Information has arisen.  You will   act as a link between clinical and digital and information colleagues providing clinical expertise to support the development, design, and implementation of NHS Fife’s HEPMA, Medicines Reconciliation and Electronic Discharge Solutions.  We require someone who is innovative in their approach with current clinical expertise to support this delivery.

As the Senior Nurse – Digital & Information, you will be a source of current nursing knowledge and expertise for both digital and information and the wider clinical community.   You will assist with implementation, training, support, and the optimisation of the use of clinical systems promoting best practice in the use of the systems and support colleagues with the change process.  

NHS Fife is ambitious in developing its Digital and Information Strategy 2019-2024 to support organisational change and modernise service delivery for the benefit of staff, patients, carers and the public.   This post will act as a key advocate of this agenda.

You must be able to travel throughout Fife on occasion and sometimes across Scotland as required. 

You must hold a current professional registration, be currently employed within NHS Fife, be able to show high levels of communication skills and be able to evidence teaching or presentation skills.
