 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 5 staff nurse to undertake an ENP development opportunity in Islay Hospital. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake the ENP Graduate Certificate modules offered through Highlands and Islands University and on completion of this will be appointed to a Band 6 post and will undertake the full role and remit of the Band 6 job description.

The post holder will work across traditional boundaries  to provide a seamless, integrated service to patients and their families.

The role will involve the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care independently and in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team  to ensure high quality, evidence based holistic care. The post holder will need to be innovative and possess an ability to work across professional boundaries, underpinned by a real desire to provide the highest standards of patient care.
