As part of a multidisciplinary team  you will provide care to patients in support of the trained Nurse and will regularly work unsupervised.  You will competently perform the necessary technical/invasive/physical aspects of care for this defined patient group and ensure an effective delivery of nursing care is provided to patients and that an acceptable standard is maintained.  You will as part of a multidisciplinary team within the Medical division / Clinics the post holder will provide care to patients in support of the trained nurse and will regularly work unsupervised.  You will support the receiving team in undertaking venepuncture, canulation, vital sign recordings, and ECG recording in conjunction with the administrative processes required to complete tasks and collate information for reporting.  You should have proficiency in venepuncture, canulation, recording of vital signs and completing ECG recordings.  This vacancy is for part time posts, 1 post is 30 hours per week and 2 for 22.5 hours per week, please put onto your application which post of posts you would like to apply for.  The shift patterns are 7.30am - 3.30pm or 8.00am - 4.00pm with predominately weekend cover (shifts may vary slightly depending on needs of the service).
