The exciting new development of the Unscheduled Care lead nurse post Based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow you will work within the South Sector Emergency Care Management Team providing clinical and managerial leadership to nursing and midwifery staff within the ground floor covering Bed Management, Clinical Nurse Coordinators, Bed Buster and Demand & Capacity Managers ensuring the objectives and quality standards of the following strands of NHS Scotland's National Quality Strategy and National Nursing and Midwifery Quality Assurance Framework are achieved and any future national initiatives.
There will be a large component of partnership working with the other lead nurses on site at the QEUH driving forward Quality Improvement to better care of USC patients and their journey through their admission.
It is essential you are a Registered Nurse, Nurse/ Midwife or Midwife with substantial clinical, operational and line management experience gained as a SCN/M / Lead CNS. You should also have a Degree/ supplemented by specialist training or equivalent experience in this area of responsibility to masters level. A recognised Leadership/ Management qualification and / or equivalent experience would be beneficial.
