Clinical Neuropsychologist/ Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychology.  Grade 8b  Part-time 0.4 w.t.e (15 hours per week).  Permanent position.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinical neuropsychologist or clinical psychologist with experience in neuropsychology to work in NHS Grampian department of clinical neuropsychology. This is a permanent part-time position, 0.4 wte. Additional sessions (temporary until April 2023) are available to increase to 0.6 w.t.e.

There is an expectation that the post holder will be able to work flexibly in the neuropsychology department across both acute and rehabilitation services.

Duties will include providing acute diagnostic assessment in outpatients settings and providing neuropsychological rehabilitation within inpatient and outpatient settings for patients with acquired brain injury (including stroke) and neurological conditions.  Initially the post holder will be working primarily within an outpatient acute diagnostic service but in the longer term it is likely this position will be within a specific area of stroke care.  Specific interests are encouraged and opportunities to develop experience out with core roles are encouraged.

As well as developing and providing a Clinical Neuropsychology service to patients and families, successful applicants will become part of the lively Department of Clinical Neuropsychology, NHS Grampian, which offers further opportunities including CPD and research.  The post is supported and supervised by a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist.  The department maintains close links with the Universities of Aberdeen and Glasgow and East of Scotland Clinical Psychology training course.
