We are currently looking to recruit to a Salaried GP for Central Buchan Medical Practice in Aberdeenshire. We would welcome applications from those willing to work on a full-time, part-time, job share, annualised hours and/or 4, 8 or 12 week block working basis. Hours may be worked in a blended way.
Come and join our relaxed and friendly practice set in semi-rural North Aberdeenshire in the picturesque North-East of Scotland. The area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts with walking, water sports, multiple golf courses and wildlife watching opportunities nearby - all helping to contribute towards an important work/life balance.
These exciting opportunities have arisen to work with our practice which operates from a purpose built building in New Pitsligo with branches in Strichen and Maud. We have a practice population of 6,320. Fraserburgh Hospital has a Minor Injuries Unit and GP Medical Unit with full support services and visiting Consultant outpatient clinics. The Minor Injuries Unit can carry out near-patient testing and has telemedicine links to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
There is excellent clinical support with a team of Advanced Practitioners, Clinical Practice Pharmacists, First Point of Contact Physiotherapist, Practice and Community nursing and Care Management.
The post provides an opportunity to provide holistic care in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
There may be opportunities to develop a special interest within this post.
There is no out of hours commitment although sessions are available locally.
There is no practice management responsibility allowing time to focus on clinical care.
