Fixed Term Post until 31.03.2023
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Site & Capacity Team for a Band 2 Site & Capacity Assistant based within our Discharge Lounge. The post holder will be required to work closely and collaboratively with members of the Site & Capacity Team as well as the Discharge Lounge which is where this post is based. Previous experience of caring for and supervising patients is essential as well as enjoying a demanding role which will involve transferring patients around BGH in a safe and comfortable manner. Good communication skills are essential for this role and the ability to use your own initiative. As you will be responsible for supervising patients in the lounge, it is important you are able to use your judgment to follow procedures and escalate to a Staff Nurse as and when required.
