You will be responsible for delivering the highest standard of Catering Service within the Hospital to patients, staff and visitors whilst maintaining a clean, safe working environment. You will be working in the diet kitchen assisting the chefs to provide allergen specific meals, texture modified meals and communicating with wards and dieticians on patient’s special requirements. Experience and Knowledge of special dietary food requirements and allergies would be desirable but full training will be provided.
You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills. You must also be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and able to cope under pressure.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are:
1 x 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 07.00am – 14.00pm
