Associate Postgraduate Dean – Rural and Remote Credential
Hours: Part Time: 1 PA (4 hours per week)
Duration: Fixed Term till Mar 2023 in the first instance

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.
The Scotland Deanery is recruiting to the role of Associate Postgraduate Dean for Credential in Rural and Remote Health (Unscheduled and Urgent Care). Work continues towards the delivery phase of the credential. An exciting role has been established to help oversee the next steps towards delivery and ongoing credential implementation.
The successful candidate will be key to the ongoing development and delivery of the GMC credential in Rural and Remote Health. The APGD should be a Consultant, General Practitioner or Career Grade Doctor and will be accountable to the Lead Dean/Director. They may also combine the role with other senior medical educator roles.
