Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service (GADRS) are seeking enthusiastic, recovery-focused individuals to provide administrative support to the recovery community in the South of Glasgow. The post forms part of the business support team and provides comprehensive, administrative and secretarial service to the Recovery Community. The post holder will have lived experience of problematic alcohol and/or drug use, or be able to demonstrate a commitment to supporting people with lived and living experience of alcohol and/or drug use. It is essential that the post holder is a proficient typist with excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to relate to a wide range of disciplines. The post holder will be required to process referrals and enquiries on a daily basis utilising systems eg: Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and also support the generic functions and duties administered within the wider ADRS Business Support section as required. The role includes the requirement to complete a multi range of tasks which includes: telephone answering; reception role; processing referrals; volunteer registration; minutes; arranging meetings; supporting volunteers and recovery staff in the preparation of presentations, promotional material, recording and monitoring budgetary information, and processing invoices. The post is a Job share.
