LONG TERM LOCUM

FRIDAY – 2 SESSIONS

We are looking for a long term Friday locum GP to join our friendly and well-established team.

Based in Dunfermline, Hospital Hill Surgery has practice population of approx. 8800, supported by 4 GP partners, 1 salaried GP, 2 ANPs, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 Treatment Room Nurse.

Our multi-disciplinary teams consists of NHS Health Care Support Worker, Community District Nurses, Community Pharmacists who deal with all aspects of prescribing including medicine reconciliation after hospital discharge, Mental Health Nurse, First Contact Physiotherapy Practitioner, Midwife, Dermatology Nurse, Dietician and a team of highly experienced admin staff.

We are an EMIS practice with varied sessions of face to face appointments and telephone consultations. No more than 25 consultations each day. Locum workload is negotiable, £250/session. House calls are shared equally amongst the GPs.

The clinical team work very well together with regular catch-ups throughout the day ensuring time to discuss patients and support each other.

We are a teaching practice for St Andrews Medical School (Year 2), students who join us during the university term.
