An exciting opportunity has arisen within Glasgow City Health & Social Care Partnership which will be of interest to highly motivated individuals who have the ability to effectively manage, direct and motivate others to deliver high quality business administration support services.
They will require experience of working and managing in a business support function or resources along with being able to make effective decisions and work to tight deadlines/ competing demands.
This role will be responsible for managing and directing a range of business administration support functions and projects for Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GHSCP) across both NHS and Council services.
The post holder will be involved in the development and establishment of an integrated business administrative service which ensures the efficient provision and delivery of effective business administrative support which meets the statutory requirements and business needs across the health and social care system, and HSCP’s wider Corporate Partner organisations including Glasgow City Council and NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.
This is a joint role which will be responsible for approx. 250 health and council administrative staff who provide business support across Older People and Primary Care Services within GHSCP on a city wide and locality basis including Older People social care, Health Centre's, Primary Care services including Phlebotomy and Vacination.
The post is excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013.
This is an integrated position as part of the GHSCP therefore the successful applicant may choose to be appointed to the post under the terms and conditions of either Glasgow City Council or NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.
