This is an exciting opportunity for a post holder to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced Registered Nurse (Acute Adult) for this post. You will be responsible for the implementation of the Dementia Care Strategy for the Board and supporting continued implementation of the National 10 Dementia Care Actions in Hospitals, as directed by the Scottish Government. You will work with all staff groups to deliver all levels of Dementia education to staff groups. You will work to support environmental adaptations required for a dementia friendly hospital.
We are looking for a UK NMC registered Registered Nurse (adult) with a First Level nursing degree (or equivalent) and demonstrated progressive experience in acute adult nursing care, with recognised skills and experience in caring for patients with dementia. A recognised post graduate qualification in dementia care and teaching are both desirable
