An exciting opportunity for a Test Lead has arisen in our NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) eHealth Strategy & Programmes Team. You will work as part of the Senior eHealth Team and users to deliver a major digital programme to support service transformation across several NHS Boards across NHS Scotland.

Working closely with healthcare professionals across Boards you will lead the testing associated with this transformation programme to provide a truly integrated and modern health and social care service.

The Role This is post will be part of the larger Laboratories Information Management System (LIMS), implementation team and be responsible for ensuring that a testing strategy is in place and that testing is being performed to the appropriate level for a system of this scale, complexity and importance. This will involve working across various Health Boards within NHS Scotland. While working across multiple NHS organisations, the role is hosted by NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, the largest healthcare organisation in Scotland and within an eHealth Directorate of 1,600 staff who deliver large-scale operational eHealth services, information management, innovation, and digital implementation programmes.

The laboratory digital systems support all clinical laboratory workflows, from electronic receipt of test requests, processing of samples, integration with robotic and automated test processes and systems, quality management, and results reporting to hospital, community and GP services. NHS Scotland is working towards a common digital systems approach.

We are seeking applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate that they have the following qualifications and experience:

 Educated to Degree Level, or can clearly demonstrate experience equitable to someone qualified at a Degree level in an associated field.

 Qualified in ITIL (Professional Best Practice Qualifications used in Technology Services).

 Experience of leading testing work streams in large complex projects  Experience of Testing tools such as JIRA

 Experience of working in an Agile environment utilising sprint etc and other project methodologies

 Experience of coordinating and executing testing of a large scale complex system across a number of key stakeholders such as end users, IT staff etc
