A 12 Month Development opportunity has arisen for a band 6 Deputy Charge Nurse, to join the inpatient team within ward 4, Woodland View.
Ward 4 is a 15 bedded acute functional assessment ward for people over the age of 65 years who require inpatient assessment and treatment for acute mental illness.
This opportunity is available to RMN Band 5 and above who have experience working as part of a multi -disciplinary care team supporting the provision of care for individuals experiencing mental health difficulties.
You will work alongside the Senior Charge Nurse to develop and manage the ward team. This includes supporting service development, risk management, delivery of individualised, person centred care, evidenced based interventions, and promoting collaborative working within a multi- disciplinary team and across multi agency services.
Applications are welcomed from individuals who will work as a key component of a multidisciplinary team and as such should have excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills along with a positive attitude and a proven ability to work as part of a team.
You should be willing to undertake training to develop skills and competencies as required.
A flexible approach to shift patterns will be essential.
