An exciting opportunity to work as the Enablement Manager for Care at Home services across Inverness district has arisen.

This post is responsible for planning, monitoring and supervising the delivery of Care at Home  to enable service users to live as independently as possible within the community. With the wider team they will plan and ensure packages of care are delivered appropriately, in accordance with outcomes of assessments. They will also monitor and ensure the quality and standard of professional practice.  The service delivery will be appropriate and in accordance with the National Care Standards, to achieve this they will work closely as part of the integrated teams and other partnership services.

The post holder will have recent experience of working in a Health/Social Care setting.  They will have an understanding of main issues and challenges facing Health and Social Care in the community and will feel able to cope with a demanding work schedule and prioritise work according.
Educated to a HNC in Social Care/SVQ4 level is required and a management ward level 10, with evidence of ability to meet SSSC registration requirements.  They will undertake personal  professional development while supporting their staff identify their learning requirements.

The successful candidate will require excellent communication skills, and competencies in the use of IT systems, including Microsoft and NHSH bespoke IT systems.

The post will be based at Assynt House Cradlehall Business Park Inverness. A full current driving licence and use of car for work purposes is necessary.
