The shift pattern for this position is 22.5hr worked as 3/7 working days flexible between Monday and Friday. 08:30-16.30 or 09.00 -17:00
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with the ability to pick up new skills quickly to work with paediatric Dietetics at Royal Hospital for Children.
The post holder will be responsible for the waiting list coordination and management across paediatric dietetics to ensure arrangements are in place to achieve waiting times standards. A key role is to develop monitoring and administrative systems to achieve waiting times and administrative systems to support dietitians to undertake their role effectively and efficiently across three sites. You should possess excellent communication skills, organisational skills and have a flexible working approach with the ability to prioritise your own workload. You will have a role in developing, maintaining and providing training in our administration systems, and be responsible for the day to day management of 1wte administration staff in the paediatric dietetic team.
Demonstrated competence in all Microsoft office packages, including Excel with expertise to create interlinking sheets for generation of reports. Knowledge of NHS systems is preferred (Trak Care, Clinical Portal, SSTS) as we are paper free and administer inpatients and outpatients via these systems. An SVQ in business administration or HNC in business or administration/IT is desirable. Experience of working in a healthcare setting is essential.
