Rubislaw Place Medical Group LLP – Practice Manager
Due to forthcoming retirement, applications are invited for a full time practice manager.
Rubislaw Place Medical Group is a friendly, busy, training and teaching practice of some 8,500 patients in the west end of Aberdeen serving a wide catchment area across the city. There are five GP partners and three salaried doctors, an advanced nurse practitioner, pharmacists, physiotherapist, practice nurse team and administration team working in practice-owned premises.
We seek a dynamic and highly organised individual with excellent HR, financial and IT skills to fulfil the practice manager role. Previous experience in NHS management and particularly practice management would be advantageous but not essential.
The main responsibilities of the practice manager are :
- supervision of the day to day running of the practice including troubleshooting
- implementation of the practice’s plans and strategic development
- management of the practice’s finances
- all aspects of staff employment
- information governance
The successful applicant will begin in post on 1 May 2023 ( or before) to allow at least a one month handover from the current practice manager who retires at the end of that month.
