A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced project support officer to join our Weight Management & Type 2 Diabetes Prevention Team to support the delivery of weight management and diabetes prevention pathways of care. The multidisciplinary team (MDT) provides adult and paediatric weight management/diabetes prevention services across NHS Lothian. The post holder will work as part of a busy MDT, alongside team administrators and a PSO colleague, taking a lead data support role in the delivery of service objectives. This post requires excellent organisational and information technology skills to ensure that national datasets are accurately submitted per recurring timescales.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
Please note: As this post is part-time the salary will be pro-rata.
