Where We Are:

Our Regional Centres are located at Hillington, Cardonald, Clydebank, South Queensferry, Dundee and Aberdeen. Clinical Supervisor posts are currently available in Aberdeen, Dundee, South Queensferry and Cardonald only.

This Role: Clinical Supervisor (Band 6 Nurse Practitioner)

As the service has evolved we have been introducing new ways of working and there is now a unique opportunity for Nurses to perform high quality telephone assessments, but also to provide Clinical Supervision to members within a multi-disciplinary team.

Our Enhanced Salary Package

NHS 24 offers a total reward package, with a permanent contract on Band 6 £35,522 - £43,286* (pro rata for part-time hours).   Placement on salary scale is dependent on confirmation of previous relevant NHS service.

Competitive salary enhancements for working unsocial hours are in addition to the above basic starting salary of £35,522, this means that the following hourly rates would be applicable -

  • Basic Hourly Rate of £18.16
  • Saturday / After 8pm Weekday Hourly Rate of £23.61
  • Sunday / Public Holiday Hourly Rate of £29.06

 As NHS 24 is predominately an out of hours employer, this means that actual earnings will include payments made for working evenings, nights, weekend shifts and public holidays.

​​​​​​​ As an example, Clinical Supervisors, on a starting salary of £35,522, working 24 or 30 hours rotas with 5 out of 8 weekends, could expect to receive estimated earning as follows -

12, 16, 18, 24 or 30 hours/week*:

  • 12hrs – 6/8 weekends (working 8hr shifts)
  • 16hrs – 8/8 weekends (working 8hr shifts)
  • 18hrs – 5/8 weekends
  • 24hrs – 5/8 weekends
  • 30hrs – 5/8 weekends (NOT AVAILABLE IN ABERDEEN)
  • 30hrs – 8/8 weekends

*The option to work nightshift only is also available for 18, 24 or 30 hours with the requirement to work 5/8 weekends. Hours are worked on average across an 8 week rota pattern.  For example rotas please see attached job pack.
