The Post:
We are seeking a Graphic Designer to be part of the Creative Services team within Marketing and Communications under the Strategy, Performance and Service Transformation directorate.
The Marketing and Communications team is responsible for managing and delivering all brand development, marketing communications, internal communications, stakeholder relations, digital engagement and creative services for NSS. The Creative Services team’s remit is to advise and support with the development, creation, delivery and ongoing management of creative solutions for the communication and engagement of NSS propositions and services.
Working closely with the Senior Graphic Designers, the Creative Services Manager and the Marketing and Communications team, you will support the development and delivery of innovative, high quality, effective creative solutions for a variety of engagement requirements for both digital and print.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have a varied and challenging role on a day-to-day basis. You will be expected to have an enthusiastic approach and be capable of maintaining professional customer relationships.
You should be a talented individual with practical experience of designing for digital and print, with a good working knowledge in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator. A strong knowledge of accessibility is also desirable.
Location and Working Pattern:
Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Meridian Court, Glasgow. It should be noted that NSS is currently in the process of relocating from Meridian Court to nearby Delta House, 50 West Nile Street Glasgow G1 2NP.
Home or Hybrid working is possible.
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
