An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse to join the ECMS – Medical Specialities teams within the Royal Alexandra Hospital. This post is based within ward 11 – a 30 bedded Acute Respiratory/General Medical ward. The successful candidates will become part of the nursing team who will support the assessment, planning and delivery of specialist care. You must be able to demonstrate your ability to engage in a positive ward culture and support the clinical team and engage in programmes of care to enhance the patient journey and patient experience contributing towards delivery of positive outcomes using the Excellence in Care framework. You will be responsible to the Senior Charge Nurse and be expected to work on your own merit, be supported by your colleagues and remain engaged in productive team dynamics. The successful candidate should be innovative and be creative within their organisational role. We would welcome applicants at all levels of experience, we are also keen to hear from staff with a respiratory background and experienced in the management of chest drains and NIV/BiPAP. Ward 11 provide care to patient with a wide range of respiratory conditions and are supported by respiratory and lung cancer nurse specialists.
