The North of Scotland Breast Service seeks an innovative, highly motivated, caring Radiographer with good communication and team working skills.  A flexible approach to your work is also essential to join the team providing the Breast Screening and Symptomatic Service to a large area of the North of Scotland and the Western Isles.
 
The successful applicant will be required to travel extensively throughout the area, working on the mobile unit, as well as working in the integrated Highland Breast Centre in Inverness
 
You should have a BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography/Therapy / Imaging Sciences with registration with the HCPC. Preferably applicants should hold the Certificate of Competence in Mammography or PG Cert in Mammography; otherwise you will be required to undertake a Post Graduate in Mammography.
 
This post would also be suitable and give a unique opportunity for a Radiographer to work jointly between General/Therapy and Breast screening/symptomatic mammography.

This post is also suitable for a newly qualified Radiographer under Annex 21 arrangements with progression to Band 6 after completion of Mammography course.
 
A full driving licence is essential and access to a car for mobile work is desirable.
