An exciting opportunity to develop, lead and quality assure nursing and midwifery pre and post-registration workplace learning within Lothian Health Board area.
Within this role you will lead and facilitate the development of sustainable quality learning environments across all nursing and midwifery care settings within NHS Lothian.
You will have responsibility for designing and delivering training and development programmes to enhance the quality of learning opportunities available to the nursing and midwifery workforce.
A priority for this role will be increasing placement capacity across the Lothian Health Board and other sectors to provide learning opportunities for pre and post-registration nursing and midwifery students.
You will also provide leadership and line management for the Practice Education Team in NHS Lothian.
You will also develop local opportunities with NHS Lothian partners for inter-professional learning within the Health Board whilst supporting the identified education needs of the nursing and midwifery workforce within the workplace.
This post is full time working Monday to Friday. The post is based at Comely Bank Centre, however, to meet service provision needs you will be required to work across NHS Lothian sites.
