This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist that would suit individuals who are interested in working with patients presenting with severe and complex mental health problems. The post is located in the Community Mental Health Team in NW Edinburgh, based in Craigroysten Health Centre where established Clinical Psychologist colleagues are currently in post as part
of a very well functioning Community Mental Health Team.

You will be involved in providing a highly specialist Psychology service to the clients of the CMHT which involves the assessment, formulation and application of psychological models and associated therapies. In addition to the provision of individual and group therapies you will be required to provide support to the multi disciplinary staff team through shared assessments, psychological formulation, reflective practice and consultancy. Teaching and training for the CMHT generally will also be expected as part of the role. The post holders will additionally be expected to engage in audit and
research activity.

The Lothian Psychology service hosts trainees from a range of Universities including Edinburgh University.
