An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Application Analysts / Testing Specialist to join the Digital & Information department within NHS Fife. You will be involved in the creating, evaluating and running diagnostic tests for systems and applications to ensure stability and efficiency according to ensure quality standards. This applies to new and existing clinical and/or business applications, including obtaining user acceptance requirements for system testing and documentation. You will work on a variety of systems including client/server, web, clinical pages, and application extension and interfacing.

You should be educated to HND level in a related subject or have equivalent experience. You should have experience of modern multi-layer applications in hybrid environments. You will be able to produce test scripts, maintain test activity logs and defect tracking procedures. You will be able to produce technical and user documentation to a high standard.

Experience of working in a large, complex organisation, such as the NHS, would be beneficial.

You must be able to travel extensively throughout Fife.

A level of English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and effectively is also required.
