Planning Manager
The Planning Manager for diagnostic services works within the Corporate Planning team to deliver the Board’s planning objectives providing local service planning support across the Acute Division of NHSGGC. The role includes both working with diagnostic services, supporting the Board wide redesign of urgent and unscheduled care and taking a lead planning role within the stroke and Thrombectomy service.
You will have the drive and expertise to work to develop the required planning structures and develop and monitor processes to ensure local plans are in place to meet key objectives, relevant timeframes and budgets. You will be expected to have high visibility among key stakeholders in carrying out this role and will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Key to this role is the ability to contribute to the delivery of Board Strategy by providing strategic and operational planning leadership and change management support. The planning manager is key in ensuring our approach to strategic planning is intelligent, allowing planning to make a significant contribution through influence and negotiation to achieve policy goals.
