An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic registered adult nurse to join our primary care team within NHS Forth Valley Prison Healthcare.

In conjunction with the Team Leader, the Deputy Team Leader will contribute to the delivery of high quality person centred care whilst working in a complex multi-disciplinary setting.

Applicants will be a first level registered adult nurse who can:

  • Provide evidence of ongoing personal development and excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and provide guidance to all staff on matters relating to health care services
  • Experience in a primary care setting with a good working knowledge of management of long term conditions.

To operate as a registered nurse in accordance with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Professional Conduct and demonstrate leadership skills and accountability in a nurse-led service within a multi disciplinary custodial setting.

This post is based within HMPYOI Cornton Vale but is subject to rotation. Shift pattern is 5 over 7 days. No night shift.
