Oral Health Improvement Services Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, professional, highly organised individual to lead the Oral Health Improvement Service within the Primary Care Dental Services of the Oral Health Directorate (OHD).

You will be responsible for the operational management and leadership of the OHD’s Oral Health Improvement (OHI) teams. This is a demanding role, the post requires someone with the ability to develop and maintain relationships across a wide range of partner organisations including nurseries, schools, care homes, prisons and the six Health and Social Care Partnerships within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

Responsibility for a complex portfolio of health improvement and inequality work is core to this position. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate health improvement expertise and an ability to manage resources flexibly to improve service delivery as health services remobilise.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Primary Care Operational Management team and clinical leads in each specialty, supporting the delivery of high quality patient focused care.

The post holder will be able to demonstrate experience of managing a successful team, leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work under pressure.
