We are currently seeking a Team Leader to join our theatre team, to provide care to patients in a wide range of specialities, including Ophthalmic, General, Orthopaedic, Trauma, ENT, Vascular, Gynaecology & Obstetrics. This post will have a particular focus within Orthopaedics.

Previous experience in Theatre as Band 5 with skills and knowledge gained from multiple speciality surgical areas is essential; in addition, you should have specific extensive skills and knowledge gained within Orthopaedic theatres. You should be an effective communicator capable of leading a team and able to provide evidence of both professional development and leadership skills.  IT skills are essential. Able to demonstrate implementation of evidence-based practice in relation to Patient care with knowledge and experience of implementing change in order to ensure high standards of patient care and safety.

The flexibility to work as the situation and service requires would be an essential aspect of this post.  A shift pattern is in place to cover services 24 / 7.
