The shift pattern for this post is Mon – Fri 8.30 – 16.30

An audio typist is required to help provide a comprehensive typing service to Medical Consultants and Junior staff within a busy department as well as supporting the secretarial team. Occasional assistance in other admin roles may be required within the service.
The role of the job is challenging and a high degree of accuracy is required at all times. You will be required to

  •  use your own initiative and competency whilst exercising a high degree
  • of confidentiality.
  •  be responsible for scheduling your own workload to ensure typing is
  • done within turnaround targets.
  •  be responsible for producing accurate outcome sheets for the relevant
  • secretaries to act on which will include being proactive in understanding
  • how to pull such data from dictation.
  •  resolve problems including incorrect or unclear dictation.
  •  Print and post letters​​​​​​​
