Due to staff development and growth, the opportunity has arisen within the Supported Discharge Unit to recruit a Band 6, Charge Nurse who will be influential in providing direction and leadership support within the Operational Division of NHS Fife.

The Supported Discharge Unit is a newly developed 23 bedded ward that supports and prepares our patients for a safe Discharge. We are looking a Charge Nurse who has exceptional additional skills who can support our team in delivering patient centered care. Additional to this, applicant should have transferrable experience of leading/developing change within their support post.

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual who has the experience and knowledge to complement our team. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to monitor, promote and actively facilitate the Supported Discharge Unit.
As well as supporting the ward, you will also provide Charge Nurse cover for the Nursing Pool and Discharge Lounge. 

You must have post registration experience and possess excellent interpersonal and have demonstrable skills in management and leadership. Successful change management in achieving high standards of care is desirable.

A structured development program in support of your Continued Personal and Professional Development will be offered.
