This is an exciting time to join our team. The Women & Children’s Directorate are seeking a highly committed Advance Nurse Specialist to work within our Gynaecology Department. Excellent communication skills with an established focus and commitment to creating a positive difference to women, services, and the team. Demonstrating leadership qualities with an enthusiastic and self-driven approach.
The post holder will contribute to the aspirations of Gynaecology Services in NHS Forth Valley including supporting, planning, and implementing care within the service as an Advanced Nurse Specialist. In NHS Forth Valley, we passionately believe in joined-up, holistic care for patients.
This is a senior role and there is an expectation that the post holder will fully participate in the clinical and professional leadership within the organisation. With recent evidence of ongoing CPD, an awareness of research-based evidence/guidelines and have competent IT skills.
The role requires you to provide day to day support within gynaecology to include supporting gynaecology ultrasound scanning, menopause, post menstrual bleeding and other gynaecology conditions. You will be working alongside the clinicians and nursing staff, providing specialist care and advice.
