An opportunity has arisen in the Primary Care Pharmacy Team for an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join the Badenoch & Strathspey Team in the Aviemore area. This role provides an opportunity to support the delivery of the primary care clinical pharmacy service. You will join an established pharmacy team responsible for delivering medicines management and pharmacy input to a range of primary care settings.
The role involves working with GP Practices as part of a multi-professional team to optimise quality, evidence-based and cost-effective use of medicines.
NHS Highland pharmacy teams are renowned for implementing new and innovative ways of working and for continually developing the roles and responsibilities of pharmacy staff. Training , education and personal development is a priority of the team and there will be opportunities for further training and education as the service and role evolves.
We are keen to hear from people who would wish to work on a part time.
You will have relevant experience of pharmacy practice, sound knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and good IT skills. You will be a pharmacy technician on the practising register of the General Pharmaceutical Council.
The post will involve travelling within a District area so a full, current driving licence and use of own car for work purposes is essential.
