Post - Specialist Physiotherapist (Static)

Location – Liberton

Grade - Band 6

Contract – Permanent  

Salary - Band 6 (£35,522 - £43,286)

Hours of work – 37.5 hours

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic Physiotherapist, with developed rehabilitation knowledge and skills in the management of the frail elderly population, to join our expanding rehabilitation physiotherapy service and be a part of the Hospital at Home and Day Hospital team. The person employed will have a primary role within Hospital at Home supporting the service to ensure people receive the best care in the community. In addition, you will also support the Day Hospital. The Hospital at Home service is evolving, and this is an exciting opportunity to be part of the ongoing development of the service.

As a band 6 physiotherapist you will be a key member of the team, working closely with the MDT to deliver rehabilitation and support to older patients with complex needs following injury or illness and supervise clinical workload of Band 5 physiotherapists, assistant practitioners, clinical support workers, and Physiotherapy students.

It is essential you have a Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy and are HCPC registration.
