We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional to join the team of Cooks within Raigmore Hospital Catering Department. 

The post holder will assist in delivering a high quality, nutritious and cost effective food service for patients and staff which meet the requirements of the National Catering and Nutrition specification for food and fluid provision in hospitals in Scotland,(Food in Hospitals) ensuring that our high standards of cleanliness and food safety are maintained. 

You will need to be flexible, committed and have a positive attitude to your work. 

Ideally you will have catering experience and a good knowledge of food hygiene and the NHS Food Safety Managment System.

Applicants must have experience of working in a large kitchen area and hold a Guilds 706/1, 706/2
 or an equivalent SVQ or be willing to undertake additional studies to gain their SVQ.  

Applicanats must be trained to to REHIS Elementary Food Hygine  Level & will  progress to Intermediate level if they do not already have this.

 You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
