An exciting opportunity has arisen within Day Surgery Ophthalmology Unit at Ayr Hospital for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Ophthalmology Practitioner to work as part of the team delivering a high standard of care.
You should hold or be working toward SVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent award as well as experience of working within an Ophthalmology setting.
As an Ophthalmology Practitioner you will be responsible for your own practice and will gain competencies in our pre-operative tests, checks and admission process. You will also gain competencies in our post-operative checks and discharge criteria. You will be given a full training programme and will be assessed by a mentor.
