Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Fixed Term / Secondment for 9 months (Maternity Leave Cover)*

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.
We are looking for a dynamic, self motivated individual to join the Aberdeen Dental Education Centre Team as an Administrative Assistant the hub office for the national work-stream of Training for the Dental Care Professionals.
The post will require you to work in new hybrid way including being on-site in ADEC supporting a team of Dental Education Professionals to plan, schedule and organise and deliver the calendar of study days and courses; from preparing materials, to booking rooms & organising speakers, supporting on the day activities as well as processing lecture fee claim forms and travel.
You will also be expected to deal with email and telephone queries from a variety of professionals in a courteous and professional manner.
You should have relevant experience in an administrative role and a knowledge of the NHS would be advantageous.
An effective team player, you will possess excellent organisational, communication and IT skills.
*For NHS employee applicants: Secondment or SLA will be considered in the first instance
