Network Specialist
Location: Glasgow Royal Infirmary, G4 0SF

We are looking for a suitably experienced and qualified individual to join the Infrastructure Network Team, to provide on-going support of network connectivity on one of the largest IT networks in the UK, and to assist in the development and monitoring of this network. Applicants should either have, or be actively working towards, the CCNA qualification and have a good working knowledge of Ethernet (wired and wireless) networking technologies in a Cisco environment, as well as a good understanding of TCP/IP and Ethernet protocols. Applicants should also have more advanced specialist knowledge of at least one of the following areas: Cisco Security Systems, Cisco Wireless Technologies, and Advanced Routing Protocols.
The post is within the North area team covering Acute Hospitals sites connected to the NHSGGC COIN network, a driving license is essential as is experience working in an NHS environment.
