NRS Project Administration Officer, Academic and Clinical Central Office for Research and Development (ACCORD)

Band 4 Post: Full-time 12-month Fixed Term/Secondment Opportunity

Academic and Clinical Central Office for Research and Development (ACCORD) has corporate responsibility for the management of Research and Development throughout NHS Lothian, and the University of Edinburgh, College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine.
We are looking for a motivated, experienced, and proactive individual to ensure that all recruitment data, electronic and paper-based research project information held by ACCORD is accurate, complete and processed in a timely manner to withstand the reporting requirements set by the Chief Scientist Office (CSO) and regulatory inspection.
Reporting to NHS Lothian’s Project Information Manager you must have proven admin experience of collating information (metrics) using a combination of databases, MS office and excel. Ideally the successful candidate would be familiar with research databases such as the Scottish Research Database Application (SReDA) or equivalent systems e.g. the NIHR UK Central Portfolio Management System (CPMS).
