The NHS Tayside Clinical Radiology Department are looking to recruit a Systems Support Technician within their IT support team on a 1 year fixed term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a small IT team who provide support directly to front line clinical staff within the Radiology Department.
Duties will consist of day-to-day BAU work inclusive of handling 2nd line support calls in addition to involvement in the varying key project/service improvement work as and when required.
What we are looking for:
The successful candidate should have previous experience supporting technical requests and have both notable endpoint hardware and software experience.
The post requires education to a minimum of diploma level, preferably in the IT field or an equivalent level of knowledge and should include the following:
- Experience in team working and good technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies
- Focus on Customer Service.
- Experience in autonomous decision making and liaising with internal/national support teams to provide solutions to problems or issues.
- Liaising with 3rd party contractors and vendors.
- Experience of working with medical devices would be beneficial
This role will include the above but is not restricted to these responsibilities.
