Who We Are
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.
What you'll do
Key tasks will include but are not restricted to:
- create easily understood and user-focused content that is relevant, accurate, accessible, and optimised for SEO
- review existing content using user research, stakeholder feedback, and analytics data to identify gaps, opportunities, and improvements
- work with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and partner organisations to build collaborative partnerships and support content objectives
- maintain a content style guide for the NHSScotland Careers workstream to make sure best practice is followed and content assets meet quality criteria
- use a content management system to publish and update content on the NHSScotland Careers website
What you'll bring
These will include but are not restricted to:
- a broad range of content design experience - user centred design, user research, creating effective and accessible content, including prototyping and testing
- creative problem-solving, including innovative solutions to engage our audience
- Umbraco content management system experience
- strong data analysis and reporting skills
- strond communication and collaboration skillsguiding and coaching staff
- guiding and coaching colleagues – you must be keen to share your content design knowledge and experience
