We are looking to recruit a permanent, part time (22.5hours) Dietitian based at Beckford street Hamilton within the Dietetics department.

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.

The post holder will ​​​​​​provide direct clinical care, which encompasses dietetic assessment, treatment and management of patients within the Lanarkshire area in a defined geographical area. The post holder will act as a source of expertise on nutritional therapy to patients, general public, other health care professionals including medical staff and GPs.​​​​​​​

Knowledge, Training and/or Experience required to do the job 

  • Registered Dietitian with valid HCPC Registration
  • The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
  • Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Working knowledge of basic information technology
