We are looking to recruit a permanent, part time (22.5hours) Dietitian based at Beckford street Hamilton within the Dietetics department.
Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
The post holder will provide direct clinical care, which encompasses dietetic assessment, treatment and management of patients within the Lanarkshire area in a defined geographical area. The post holder will act as a source of expertise on nutritional therapy to patients, general public, other health care professionals including medical staff and GPs.
Knowledge, Training and/or Experience required to do the job
- Registered Dietitian with valid HCPC Registration
- The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
- Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management skills
- Working knowledge of basic information technology
Please note: It is essential that the post holder be a car driver with valid UK driving licence
