An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen with Ward 3B at University Hospital Crosshouse for a Deputy Charge Nurse with current NMC registration.

You will possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills as well as being able to work effectively to assist the Senior Charge Nurse to lead the team. You will support the SCN in ensuring the delivery of safe standards of care, organisational governance requirements and to meet deliverables of service change and developments.  The SCN ensures a focus on patient safety, effective management of resource, continuous improvement, staff training and development, education and research.

Commitment to ongoing professional development is essential with support and training being provided by the Senior Charge Nurse. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required in order to collaborate with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, ensuring the patient journey is both positive and safe with care being delivered in a manner which is person centered.

Hours: 34.5 per week
