GP MATERNITY LOCUM(S) – UP TO 6 SESSIONS AVAILABLE PER WEEK

Inverkeithing and Dalgety Bay Surgeries
Salary: £550 per day

We are looking for Locum cover for up to 6 sessions per week to cover maternity leave for 12 months, commencing 1st July2023.  We are willing to discuss flexible sessions/days.

You will be working with a highly motivated and enthusiastic Practice Team.  We benefit from being a large Practice with a team of 11 GP Partners and 3 Salaried GPs.  Our Clinical Team consists of Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Chronic Disease Nurses, Pharmacists, a Mental Health Counsellor, a Mental Health Triage Nurse, First Contact Physiotherapist and Health Care Support Workers to help with some of the work traditionally done by GPs.    The Practice has a highly organised and efficient Administrative Team to support Clinicians.  Consultations are a mix of face to face and by telephone.

We currently use EMIS clinical software (to be replaced by Vision).

We are currently involved in Document Optimisation to reduce GP workflows.

We are a Training Practice for GP Trainees and HCP Medical Students.

We operate from two modern purpose-built premises in Inverkeithing and Dalgety Bay.  There is easy parking in the area when out and about on house calls.

Our main Surgery, Inverkeithing, is situated just across the Queensferry Crossing and is approximately 25 minutes commute from central Edinburgh and within easy reach of Perth/Stirling.
