Based at the Royal Alexandra Hospital we are looking for an experienced and forward thinking pharmacist to work within our critical care and surgical team. You will support the Lead Clinical Pharmacist in encouraging new and innovative ways of working and work with the other surgical pharmacist team leads across GGC to further develop the service in line with GGC priorities.
You’ll need confidence and enthusiasm for multidisciplinary working as an integral member of the team and should demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills. You will provide education and training for medical, nursing and pharmacy staff and provide support for the electronic prescribing system. You will participate in both In:SPIRE clinics and the GGC wide pre operative pharmacy led clinics. You should have significant experience of working within critical care and experience in influencing senior clinicians. A postgraduate pharmacy qualification and registered independent prescribing qualification (or working towards this) are essential. The hours will be worked Monday to Friday with participation in on call weekend, public holiday and extended hours rotas as per service requirements.
