We are currently seeking keen and enthusiastic individuals to work within our Ambulance Control Centres in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness. The hours will be 37.5 hours per week, 7 days a week.
The Control Centre is a busy environment dealing with the registration, planning and control of scheduled ambulance journeys. You will talk directly with patients on the telephone and liaise with ambulance crews, Health Boards and other organisations to provide patients with ambulance transport suitable for their needs.
Applicants should have good accurate keyboard skills (at least 30 wpm) and have experience in modern communication systems and knowledge of Windows based computer software. Full system training will be given, where required.
