Due to internal promotion within the team we are now looking for an exceptional candidate to join the multi-disciplinary team in working towards improving the quality of care for people who are living with dermatological conditions.
As a Specialist Nurse, you would help co-ordinate patient care from diagnosis to treatment and through to follow up care, be a familiar face who can provide support for patients, provide information on tests, investigations and treatment options, offer advice on symptom control and provide a link to other professionals and support services. This is an exciting opportunity at a time of continuing quality improvement to join the team.
This post requires vision, innovation and the ability to work across professional boundaries and a real desire to provide the highest standards of patient care. You should possess sound clinical knowledge, be able to demonstrate a wide range of clinical skills-including the ability to offer interventions, advice and delivery of safe, effective care to a diverse client population. This post requires you to work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team and as an autonomous practitioner.
You should possess good interpersonal skills and a commitment to joint working. A background in Dermatology is essential. You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development, be highly organised and have good IT skills.
Part-time hours would be considered.
